Kings Place Gallery will originate a continuous programme of temporary and touring exhibitions by artists of national and international reputation, as well as representing younger, emerging artists.
Our inaugural exhibitions were Past in Future: sculptures by Norway's most distinguished sculptor Nicolaus Widerberg (recently shown in Athens and New York), and Six Paintings by British artist Albert Irvin.
Following are a succession of exhibitions by artists exceptionally gifted in all media, including Ian McKeever.
As well as exhibiting the Ruth Borchard Collection, the extraordinary archive of self-portraits by British artists commissioned by Ruth Borchard in the immediate post-war years, the programme will regularly include exhibitions by contemporary Norwegian artists, a group whose recent radical achievements have established audiences worldwide.
Kings Place Gallery has a large permanent stock of paintings, works on paper, original prints and sculptures available by the gallery artists and exhibited artists. Please contact the gallery for further information.
