Folk & Americana at Kings Place explores the UK’s core traditions alongside international and modern styles. At the heart of the programme is a rich artistic tapestry spanning singer-songwriters, acoustic, indie, Americana, country, bluegrass, roots and other styles.

Guests have included established artists and emerging talent from the broadest range of musical backgrounds, including BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners. Highlights have included performances by Chris Wood, Peggy Seeger, Martin Carthy, Dave Swarbrick, Martin Simpson, The Poozies, Breabach, Adem, Lau, Roddy Woomble, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Emily Barker, Kan, Lisa Knapp, Kris Drever, Roy Bailey and Tony Benn, Bella Hardy, Orlando Seale and The Swell and Sam Lee & Friends.

Kristin has collaborated with musicians Jools Owen, Emma Gatrill and Martha Rose across the UK and Europe alongside notable acts such as Benjamin Clementine, Sam Lee, Kathryn Joseph and The Weather Station.
