Kenneth Robertson

Kenneth Robertson spent 21 years working in the West End of London as a dental surgeon. He then decided to combine his work with his love of the countryside and animals and became a farmer. After visiting the exhibition Bronze Birds at Pangolin Editions he felt inspired to create deer in bronze. His daily handling of the animal gave him constant opportunity to study their elegant form.

In 1997 Robertson began a series of dancers in bronze capturing movement and mood of the dance as expressed by the actions of the dancers. Robertson’s work has been included in a number of exhibitions including the Albermarle Gallery, London; Leone Cockburn, Edinburgh and Falle Fine Gallery in Jersey.
