One of the most famous German string quartets, the Henschel Quartet (Christoph Henschel, Markus Henschel, Monika Henschel, and Mathias Beyer-Karlshøj) perform Bach, Mozart and Mendelssohn and are joined by members of the Finchley Children's Music Group for the world premiere of Carolingua by Derek Smith, the winning work of the collaborative BBC Music Magazine - Henschel Quartet composing competition.
