Tonight the worlds of music and business collide in the much anticipated final of the Office Choir of the Year 2010. Coordinated by Music in Offices, this is the first contest of its kind spreading the word about music's benefits in the workplace. Employees from across the capital have been singing their way through workshops and heats to reach the final four, with a commitment and energy that is inspirational to behold.
Also taking to the stage will be finalists of the Office Musician of the Year 2010, designed for the many talented amateur musicians who juggle their love of music with busy careers. More than twenty top workplaces have taken part in the project, ranging from law firms to high street chains, in support of New Horizon Youth Centre and the music charity, Voices Foundation.
Special guest and internationally-reknowned trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins will also be performing.Adjudicators include world famous clarinettist, Emma Johnson, pianist Lucy Parham (Young Musician of the Year, Winner), choral director David Lawrence (BBC's Choir of the Year judge) and Lady Suzi Digby (BBC's Last Choir Standing).
