eXplorations
A trio of Jazz talents Jay Phelps, Soweto Kinch and Alex Wilson collaborate on-stage together over three nights to produce a unique series of performances.
These three unique collaborations will see each performer take a night centre-stage. Along with a host of friends, the trio will be on hand to guest-star in each others gigs. Jay Phelps's night kicks things off with a 17-piece big band plus special guest Gwyneth Herbert, whilst saxophonist & rapper Soweto Kinch airs his new album complete with a dancers' interpretation on 27 Jan. The series wraps up with pianist Alex Wilson presenting the London première of his Suite for piano, string quartet & kora, played by Kadialy Kouyaté.
