Purpose and Grace


Legendary acoustic & slide-guitarist Martin Simpson brings a live show of his latest acclaimed album Purpose + Grace to Kings Place from Thursday 9 February. 

A stellar cast feature on his album, and will be performing at Kings Place this week, including June Tabor and Dick Gaughan. 

fRootslogoAlso appearing are Roy Bailey and Tony Benn, Chris Wood (BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year 2011), and the Ruth Theodore Band with Nancy Wallace and Jason Steel. A host of young stars from Sheffield’s Bright Phoebus join Simpson for the last night.  There will also be a host of workshops.
