The Sixteen & Friends

The Sixteen's Choral Pilgrimage, celebrating the music of Spanish composer Tomas Luis De Victoria comes to Kings Place in style

Victoria, for Harry Christophers, is 'the finest person of the Renaissance' whose music grips us with its 'liveliness, emotion, fervent Catholicism'. He conducts The Sixteen in a special concert marking the 400th anniversary of Victoria's death. Also starring is the incomparable viol consort Fretwork and soprano Elin Manahan Thomas in an evening of intimate 17th century song.
