Celebrating 10 years in the UK, Abram Wilson is back on the road with a new band of stellar musicians and a fresh, exciting project of new music ranging from blues to melodic swing and stunning vocals.

Wilson's music is inspired by the largely forgotten life of the Harlem born, classical piano prodigy, Philippa Schuyler. His performance of Philippa is a captivating one as he draws you into her world, a life of mixed identity, love and eventually loss. Wilson’s gift for story-telling and his passion for delivering a musical presentation of the highest quality results in his audiences leaving both uplifted and inspired.

Multi-award winning New Orleans trumpeter and vocalist, Abram Wilson, is one of the leading jazz trumpeters in the UK today. With trumpet playing reminiscent of Freddie Hubbard, Miles Davis, and Wynton Marsalis and the vocals of Sammy Davis Jr. and Chet Baker, Wilson has created a unique and captivating style of melodic compositions that swing and groove. Charismatic on stage and off, Wilson’s musicality exudes warmth, passion, virtuosity and soul.

With support from Jazz Services Ltd and Arts Council England.
