Travel to Kings Place

Audiogold + Three For a Girl

GMF Easter Jazz Workshop and Music Festival
Music / Saturday, 7 April 2012 - 10:00pm / Hall Two
£12.50 / Online Savers £9.50 (subject to availability)

Audiogold are Raphael, Jonny, Alex and Marco. Rising up from the music circuit of Barnet, London, they recently released their debut album Embers & Theories on JAMC Records (ChinChin Records).

"Audiogold are a refreshing change, a bright beacon on the horizon...Hymn 171 is a cross between The Sundays, Starsailor and Jeff Buckley; and the mighty Tea Lights has that same sonic landscape of A Northern Soul era The Verve."
Never Enough Notes

"Their material is immediately refreshing, as they range across a diversity of musical influences, without sounding like a watered down version of any of them, creating their own distinctive sound... they remain true to the emotions that drive their music, deftly drawing powerful imagery through the four of them interacting effortlessly, as they weave their way through their tracks."
The Indie Bands Blog

"...great songwriters, great sense for good melodies, many ideas in every song...fantastic musicians."
Bahama Soul Club
____________

Threeforagirl are a three piece band from Sevenoaks in Kent made up of Immie, Ellie and C. They have been writing and performing together for over a year but have been best friends for all their life. The three girls write and perform acoustic/folk music, favouring close experimental harmonies and hauntingly beautiful instrumentals.

Among their repertoire of instruments are guitars, violins, pianos, drums, various electic percussion and occasionally a tambourine called John. Threeforagirl have supported a number of high profile artists, more recently Smoke Fairies, Edwina Hayes and Katy Lied. Recently X Factor contestant Charley Bird recorded a version of Silverlight (written by Immie) for her debut album.
