In the second of the Gould Piano Trio's two concerts of the complete Brahms piano trios, they play his three sensational, mature works. The dramatic, concise C minor trio provides extraordinary contrast to the majestic C major trio, while the B major Op. 8 shows Brahms at his melodic best.
