This event is in honour of Robin Hyman.

Is male sexuality a rampant uncontrollable urge that causes havoc in society? Are men at the mercy of their testosterone? With an unflinching gaze and bolstered by an assiduous body of research, psychiatrist Philip Graham leaves nothing unexposed as he lays bare dimension after dimension of male sexuality, from childhood to the grave.

Philip Graham, Professor Emeritus of Child Psychiatry at the Institute of Child Health, UCL, was a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street for over 25 years. He has also acted as co-ordinating consultant to the WHO Child Mental Health Programme, Chair of the National Children’s Bureau and president of the European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His recent publications include The End of Adolescence and So Young, So Sad, So Listen.

Rosine Jozef Perelberg is a Training Analyst and Fellow of the British Psychoanalytic Society, Visiting Professor in the Psychoanalysis Unit at University College London and Corresponding Member of the Paris Psychoanalytical Society. Her books include Dreaming and Thinking; Time, Space and Phantasy; Murdered Father, Dead Father: Revisiting the Oedipus Complex and Psychic Bisexuality: A British-French Dialogue.
