      Managing Director

      Robert has spent his career in the cultural industries. Before becoming Managing Director of Kings Place he was Chief Operating Officer at DACS, a rights management organisation that distributes over £20m a year to artists and visual creators through the management of their IP and royalties. Prior to this, Robert was Operations Director at Tate Enterprises, the commercial arm of Tate Gallery, with a broad brief that included the development of Tate’s e-commerce and digital capabilities. Before Tate, Robert held a number of senior roles at the BBC and its commercial arm, BBC Worldwide. He is Chair of the FPS artist group, Chair of Leopold School Board of Governors and on English National Ballet’s Enterprises Working Group, with a focus on commercial opportunities. Robert graduated with an honours degree in Fine Art Painting from Wimbledon School of Art. He was born in Salford, raised in Nottingham and lives in Harlesden, NW London.

      Zoë Jeyes is Deputy Managing Director of Kings Place and has worked at the venue since it opened in 2008. She is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction and leadership of all departments as well as having primary responsibility for the HR function within Kings Place. Zoë is also Comedy Programmer at Kings Place and Founder, Producer and Programmer of the London Podcast Festival. Previous to Kings Place, Zoë worked at the Lakeside Arts Centre where she had responsibility for Operations and Front of House. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham and more recently obtained an MSc in Human Resource Management from Birkbeck. Zoë loves all culture, pop and highbrow and has a special interest in comedy and podcasts. She is rarely without her headphones.

      Head of Finance

      Julia Price is Head of Finance for Kings Place and has worked here since 2016. She manages the Finance team comprising the Assistant Management Accountant and the Finance Assistant and is responsible for the department’s strategic leadership and development. Julia studied Mathematics at Warwick University and became ACCA qualified in 2015.  Prior to working at King’s Place, Julia worked at the Cambridge Corn Exchange as the Finance and Administration Manager. Julia loves attending live music and comedy performances and going for long walks with her dog , preferably by the sea.

      Programme Director

      Helen Wallace is Programme Director of Kings Place. She started working for the venue as a freelance editor-in-chief in 2009, and has since been Classical and Creative Consultant. She is responsible for the overall artistic direction and narrative of the programme, the year-long Unwrapped series and managing the programming team. She was formerly editor and consultant editor of BBC Music Magazine, a critic and broadcaster, and author of Boosey & Hawkes: the publishing story. She also plays the cello and spent 15 years teaching early years music. She loves music, books, comedy and the great outdoors.

      Emrah Tokalaç is currently Head of Marketing & Communications at Kings Place, having joined the team in 2009. He is responsible for the overall marketing and communications strategy of the Kings Place brand and oversees the promotion of its busy artistic programme. Prior to this role, Emrah worked in the advertising sector as Account Supervisor and Copywriter at rpm/radar cdp europe, Istanbul, with a client portfolio including Toyota, Nivea and Vitra. He studied Management at Bosphorus University, Istanbul. At the same time, he also completed a four-year certificate programme in Voice as baritone at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, and MA in Musicology at Istanbul Technical University. He holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from University of Nottingham. He loves music, geography, history, city breaks, and pub quizzes.

      Chris Nye is the Head of Visitor Services of Kings Place. He started working for the venue when it first opened in 2008. He is responsible for and overseeing the Visitor Experience, Front of House and Box Office teams. Chris has over 20 years customer service management experience working for arts and cultural organisations . Before joining the team, Chris was Visitor Services Manager for AEG Live and helped set up the Front of House and ticketing operations for the IndigO2, the sister venue of the O2 . Prior to the O2 Chris worked for several years for the Royal Albert Hall as Assistant Box Office Manager. Chris has a deep passion for football, enjoys cooking, reading biographies, and watching nature and wildlife documentaries in his spare time. Chris is born and raised in Dulwich, South London.

      Krisztian Vass is Head of Technical of Kings Place. He started working for Kings Place as a freelance sound engineer in June, 2009 and has since been in different capacities: Head of Sound, Technical Manager and Head of Technical. Krisztian is responsible for the technical delivery of all performances and events, looking after a large team of technicians and managers. Prior to Kings Place Krisztian worked as touring sound engineer and technical manager with recording artists and bands, hire companies and venues in London and Budapest. He completed his MA Sonic Arts degree at Middlesex University in 2009. Outside of Kings Place, Krisztian writes and produces music for film, advertising and TV. He loves anything audible and has a huge library of self-recorded bird songs and sound effects.

      Tom Jeyes is Head of Production at Kings Place. He has worked at the venue since 2009, first as a Lighting Technician, then in Event Production leading on the delivery of commercial events, before taking on leadership of both the corporate and artistic production teams. Prior to joining Kings Place, Tom spent two years as a Mechanical Designer working on technical design across a variety of building projects, and gained experience in marketing and PR. Tom has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham. As well as regularly playing football and tennis, Tom loves the cinema and has a keen interest in video games and technology.

      Jacob Asare is the Head of ICT at Kings Place. Working closely with the Managing Director he is responsible for; overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations, managing the IT Team, tracking technology in order to achieve business goals, eliminating security risks, increasing user satisfaction, and maintaining operations & systems. Prior to joining Kings Place Jacob worked as an Account Manager for an IT managed service provider called Wanstor, and he was also previously the IT Manager for Teenage Cancer Trust. Jacob also spent 12 years working at the Parole Board for England and Wales within the Ministry of Justice, where he spent 8 years of that time as the IT Manager. Jacob enjoys music, basketball and comedy.
