Comedy programming at Kings Place includes everything from stand-up, sketch, character, and improv through to humour with a musical flavour, with an emphasis on the innovative, exciting and the seriously funny. The aim is to introduce audiences to new genres, mixing comedy with storytelling, poetry, music and the visual arts. Recent acts have included Tim Minchin, Russell Howard, Ardal O'Hanlon, Bridget Christie, Russell Kane, Tim Key, Rob Newman, Chris Addison, Austentatious, Josie Long, Jon Ronson, Adam Riches, Pappy’s, Sara Pascoe, Andrew Maxwell, Abandoman, John Hegley, Joseph Morpurgo, Isy Suttie, John Kearns, Tony Law and Cariad Lloyd.
