Audiences will experience a breath-taking evening of music inspired by nature as Patrick Hamilton performs work from his most recent album Elements of Nature, a haunting yet beautiful collection of solo felted piano recordings. The announcement of this one-off performance follows the Belgian artist’s debut sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room on 10th February.
Hamilton was classically trained at the Royal Conservatoires in Bruges and Ghent and has had a hugely varied musical career, ranging from scoring TV shows and films to working as a producer for a number of internationally renowned artists including Alfie Boe OBE, Sir Bryn Terfel CBE, and Richard Clayderman.
Hamilton’s production, writing and arranging work for best-selling classical artist, Katherine Jenkins OBE, has seen him oversee a number of Katherine’s albums, all of which reached number 1 on the UK Official Classical Artist Album Chart, including her 12th studio album Cinema Paradiso (2022).
Hamilton is renowned in the music industry for his extraordinary talent and capacity to blend genres to produce a distinctive sound. His minimalistic music is both elegant and dynamic, with a timeless and contemporary tone which results in millions of streams and fans worldwide.
Hamilton is also an ambassador of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to promoting music education for today’s youth.
This event will last approximately 90 minutes, with no interval.
