Born of Vietnamese parents in Paris in 1959, Nguyên Lê is one of the most versatile, distinctive and independent guitarists in the world – going far beyond the bounds of jazz music and shaped by the most varied of influences such as Asian music, modern jazz, fusion or classic rock. The IGF Guitar Summit is a unique opportunity to study with this great guitarist.

He is assisted by renowned jazz guitarist Dario Cortese. Dario is one of the busiest session guitarists on the London music scene, working for TV and in the theatre and recording studio. His list of recording credits includes names such as Melanie C (Spice Girls), Hayley Westenra, Leanne Mitchell and Anna Leddra Chapman. During his career he has worked with some of the finest musicians in the world such as Larry Carlton, Albert Lee, Scott Henderson, Brent Mason and Brett Garsed just to name a few. He is IGF’s Head of Popular and Contemporary Styles, a senior tutor at ICMP as well as being one of the most sought after tutors in the UK, regularly giving masterclasses all over Europe!
