Origins Unwrapped is the Kings Place flagship series for 2027, exploring identity, heritage and belonging through a vibrant season of music and spoken word events.
A major focus of the series is Canada, celebrating the richness and diversity of contemporary Canadian culture through performances by leading folk and Francophone artists including La Déferlance, Le Vent du Nord, Catherine MacLellan, Luke Wallace, Rum Ragged, Rachel Davis & Darren McMullen, alongside artists identified through the Folk Canada network.
The Canadian and Québécois Folk series is generously supported by the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom and the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation, with further support of selected Québécois events by the Québec Government Office in London.
