Payments

We are a cashless venue, and can no longer accept cash payments for bookings.

Transaction Fee

A transaction fee of 12.5% will be applied to your booking, up to a maximum charge of £6. This fee is to cover our Box Office administrative costs so that Kings Place Music Foundation can continue to support its artists, programme, learning and participation work.

Building Levy Fee

Kings Place Music Foundation is a charity with high running costs. Our performance spaces need constant upkeep and improvement to ensure we can continue to bring you world-class programming in a state of the art, sustainable and accessible environment.

A £1 Building Levy is applied to each booking, the proceeds of which go towards maintaining and improving our performance spaces and facilities.

Fees do not apply to purchases made in person at the Box Office. Kings Place Friends are exempt from all booking fees.

Seating

All events in Hall One use allocated seating unless stated otherwise.

Delivery

Tickets for Kings Place shows are only available as e-tickets, you can present your e-ticket or order confirmation at the auditorium doors.

For events from 1st January 2025 onwards, you will receive your tickets three days before the event start date, via email. If you have booked for multiple events, you will receive tickets for each event separately. Tickets purchased at the box office can be printed physically at the time of booking.

Refund and Exchange Policy

  • All tickets for events at Kings Place are non-refundable/exchangeable.
  • If a performance is sold out and you would like to return your tickets, please contact the Kings Place Box Office to enquire about resale options. In the event of a successful resale, the booker will receive a Kings Place credit voucher for the face value of the tickets (booking fees excluded), less an additional £1.50 resale fee per ticket. Credit vouchers are valid for two years from the date of issue, and can be redeemed against ticketing purchases only.
  • Only tickets purchased from the Kings Place Box Office or approved agents are valid for admission. Tickets sold via unauthorised third parties, including online auction sites, are not valid for admission. Reselling a ticket, except via the Kings Place Box Office, makes it void and the ticketholder may be refused entry.
  • Some performances may have specific conditions of sale, which will be listed on the event pages on this site. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check this before they purchase tickets.
  • Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person for certain events.
  • Kings Place reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme.
  • If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a performance is cancelled or abandoned when less than half the performance has taken place a refund (booking fees excluded) will be provided.

VAT

Kings Place Music Foundation is classed as partially exempt for VAT purposes. KPMF ticket sales are culturally exempt from VAT and therefore contain no VAT element, other than tickets for streamed events which contain VAT at either 5% or 20%.

Ticket Offers for Young People

A limited number of ‘Under 14s’ £6.50 (no booking fee) and ‘Under 30s’ £10 (no booking fee) tickets are available for selected events at Kings Place, ranging from Classical concerts to Jazz and Folk music – a great way to introduce children to live music and make it more accessible to young people. All events with ticket offers for children and young people are displayed here. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact the Box Office for more information.

Children

Tickets are required for each child attending a performance. Parents are reminded that some performances are not suitable for young children.

Children over 18 months old but under 14 years old qualify for a child ticket or Under 14 ticket for performances that offer this concession price.

Over 14 years olds must use an adult ticket.

Please note that child booster seats are not available.
