Our Safety Measures

Please see below the safety measures we have in place ready for when we’re able to reopen.

We will continue to review and manage any risks and to respond to changes in Government guidelines, keeping our staff trained, and our audience up to date as much as possible. If you have any queries, please contact our Box Office team: info@kingsplace.co.uk

Please note that if you suspect you have any symptoms of coronavirus or have been advised by track and trace to self-isolate, we kindly urge you to refrain from attending events at Kings Place until you regain your health or your self-isolation period is over. Remember also, it will only be possible to sit with those in your own household or bubble.

  • Organised general admission seating in the halls to ensure a full 1 m circle around each audience member, household group or bubble.
  • All audience members must be seated in groups of no more than six from their household or bubble only.
  • Provision of sanitising stations at each entrance, and access to hand-washing facilities
  • A state of the art fresh-air air-conditioning system which ensures air is not recirculated
  • All the communal areas and surfaces of the building have been sanitised using the Bioprotectus fogging disinfection programme
  • All front of house staff to wear masks
  • Mask must be worn for the duration of your visit unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing so.
  • One-way ingress and egress from the halls
  • Pre-planned scheduling of all areas in the building to de-densify spaces
  • Signage reminding people to keep a distance of 2m wherever possible, including whilst moving around Kings Place with clear directional signage and the use of one-way systems
  • Regular cleaning of toilets and thorough cleaning of the hall between events
  • There is now no concert bar in the foyer, however Rotunda is open and safely serving food and drink
  • Maintaining a database of contact details for all visitors to Kings Place to aid the NHS Test & Trace scheme. Data kept secure and disposed of after 21 days
  • We will not be issuing paper tickets; for those without e-tickets, your email confirmation of purchase will suffice
  • Programme handbills will be digitised
  • To limit physical contact, we won’t be opening our cloakroom so please refrain from bringing large items of luggage as these won’t be allowed in the halls

Kings Place is now a recipient of the ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard mark, certifying that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines with a Risk Assessment in place plus a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
