Our Safety Measures

We are pleased to be able to open our doors again and offer you performances in a safe environment.

Please see below for some essential safety information about your visit.

We will continue to review and manage any risks and to respond to changes in Government guidelines, keeping our staff trained, and our audience up to date as much as possible. If you have any queries, please contact our Box Office team:

  • Provision of sanitising stations at each entrance, and access to hand-washing facilities
  • A state of the art fresh-air air-conditioning system which ensures air is not recirculated
  • All the communal areas and surfaces of the building have been sanitised using the Bioprotectus fogging disinfection programme
  • Organised general admission seating in the halls to ensure a full 1 m circle around each audience member, pair or household group
  • Due to current guidance, we are unable to allow groups of more than 6 to be sat together.
  • All front of house staff to wear masks
  • Audiences to wear masks in the hall (unless it is not appropriate for them to do so)
  • One-way ingress and egress from the halls
  • Pre-planned scheduling of all areas in the building to de-densify spaces
  • Signage reminding people to keep a distance of 2m wherever possible, including whilst moving around Kings Place with clear directional signage and the use of one-way systems
  • Regular cleaning of toilets and thorough cleaning of the hall between events
  • There is now no concert bar in the foyer, however Rotunda is open and safely serving food and drink
  • Maintaining a database of contact details for all visitors to Kings Place to aid the NHS Test & Trace scheme. Data kept secure and disposed of after 21 days
  • We will not be issuing paper tickets; for those without e-tickets, your email confirmation of purchase will suffice
  • Programme handbills will be digitised
  • To limit physical contact, we won’t be opening our cloakroom so please refrain from bringing large items of luggage as these won’t be allowed in the halls
