Writer and folk musician Karine Polwart brings to life this vivid story of leadership and resilience, diversity and collaboration, based upon her book collaboration with Kate Leiper, which was recently shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award.
Sing in a spirit of solidarity and hospitality, togetherness and welcome, at this accessible, participative event. No musical or reading experience required. Everything will be taught by ear. Children of 10 years+ welcome with an accompanying adult.

As part of Karine Polwart’s Sing to the Dark Weekend, enjoy an intimate evening from two of the most exciting young Scottish voices, singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni, and Gaelic singer and composer Kim Carnie.
Inspired by seasonal traditions, Scottish songwriter and storyteller, Karine Polwart, journeys into and out of darkness via some of the best-loved songs of her 25-year career, as well as new music, story and immersive sound, crafted in collaboration with sound designer and composer Pippa Murphy.
