Celebrated organist and conductor Anna Lapwood leads the Girls’ Choir and Chapel Choir of Pembroke College in a captivating festive concert, featuring Britten’s iconic Christmas sequence with harp, and shining a light on some of the most exciting voices in contemporary choral music. Modern day classics such as ‘Jesus Christ the Apple Tree’ and ‘O Radiant Dawn’ will be interspersed with poetry chosen by the singers themselves.

The evening’s repertoire will be interspersed with readings of festive works from the likes of Rowan Williams, T.S Elliot, Margaret Deland, Paul Laurence Dunbar, read by much-admired actor Alex Macqueen.

The performance will last approximately 75 minutes straight through without an interval.
