A Lie down & Listen experience of meditation, Tibetan bowl sound healing and a lying down concert of gentle and seductive baroque and classical music for lute and piano.

You’ll be guided into a deeply relaxed state, experiencing a change of perspective and a heightened awareness of space: here you’ll perceive the subtleties, textures and colours of the music and feel the sounds resonating with your entire being and Inner Landscape.

You’ll experience an unusual yet stimulating combination of music: from beautifully melancholic baroque music for lute, theorbo and keyboard in John Dowland, Robert de Visee and Scarlatti to deep resonances and romantic swells of Brahms.  You’ll hear Ravel’s seductive piano sonorities in Ondine from Gaspard de la nuit and John Cages hypnotic ‘In a Landscape’ which transforms the piano into a sound bath of delicate gongs and bells.

This concert is experienced lying down on yoga mats with cushions provided for comfort and a deeper listening experience. Feel free to bring your own added layers and blankets for comfort.

The performance will last approximately 70 minutes.
