Peter and the Wolf is a timeless, fascinating tale set in the depths of the Russian forest and brought vividly to life by Prokofiev’s truly magical music arranged for piano duet: various animals, a stern Grandfather and the plucky character of Peter are all truly unforgettable. Preceding this, we’ll enjoy the touching story of Poulenc’s Babar the Elephant, a firm favourite with listeners of all ages where another brave little animal sets out on a very different kind of adventure.

Both stories will be narrated by the inimitable Simon Callow*. Prepare to be enchanted!
