5pm – 6.15pm Final of the London International Guitar Competition

LIGC one of the most prestigious competitions worldwide which has attracted the best guitarists under 30 years of age who have come from 33 different countries. Tonight, three finalists will play 20 each to win the coveted First Prize.

6.30pm: Emmanuel Sowicz Concert – 2018 winner

A 30 minutes performance by Chilean guitarist Emmanuel Sowicz, the outstanding winner of London International Guitar Competition 2018.

Programme includes Joe Cutler’s Marinus (IGF Commission)

For the first in the Platoon Presents at Kings Place series, join us for a never-heard-before version of Vivaldi’s baroque masterpiece, 'The Four Seasons', bringing music and poetry together, performed by virtuoso violinist Daniel Pioro, Manchester Camerata and interspersed with specially commissioned new poetry written by Sir Michael Morpurgo, recited by Sir Stephen Fry.
