For the first in the Platoon Presents at Kings Place series, join us for a never-heard-before version of Vivaldi’s baroque masterpiece, ‘The Four Seasons’, bringing music and poetry together, performed by virtuoso violinist Daniel Pioro, Manchester Camerata and interspersed with specially commissioned new poetry written by Sir Michael Morpurgo, recited by Sir Stephen Fry.

Preceding this, Caroline Shaw’s The Evergreen sets the scene, beautifully capturing the essence of an evergreen tree, standing tall and strong throughout the changing seasons.

Daniel Pioro & Manchester Camerata’s album, Vivaldi: The Four Seasons, will be released on Platoon on 17 January 2025.

This event will last approximately 70 minutes, without an interval.
