Six outstanding young artists, one prestigious prize.

Trinity Laban’s Gold Medal Showcase is an eagerly anticipated fixture in the London music calendar and provides an early chance to glimpse the musical stars of the future. Director of Music, Dr. Claire Mera-Nelson is joined by leading lights of the British music industry to judge Trinity Laban’s annual Gold Medal Showcase. Nominated by the Heads of Departments for their high level of creativity and musicianship, the Gold Medal Showcase sees young artists showcase the diverse musical talent from the wind, brass, and percussion, strings, voice, piano, jazz and composition departments of Trinity Laban.

Expect an eclectic mix of jazz, classical and contemporary music as these rising stars perform at the start of their promising careers. The judges will then confer and decide who should be awarded the Gold Medal, the Conservatoire’s most celebrated prize.
