The promotion of black oral music tradition is at the heart of Black Voices’ mission. They deliver a range of singing workshops as part of our commitment to promoting social justice.
Black Voices have inspired the formation of community choirs across the country and continue to support many through a range of singing projects and workshops. They continue to widen access to the tradition but also seek out and foster new talent and artistic excellence.
Participants in this workshop led by Ceceilia Wickham-Anderson will enjoy the challenge of singing in harmony (SATB) covering a variety of styles from traditional African, spirituals, jazz, gospel, pop and folk.
This workshop will be 90 minutes long. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
