Barry Cryer with Colin Sell & Jumoké Fashola

Gifted. Creative. Incorrigible.

The priceless Barry Cryer, accompanied by Colin Sell on piano, combine in a rare appearance in central London to entertain in an evening of jokes, one-liners, anecdotes from in and out of showbiz, and songs. Merriment is guaranteed throughout. The evening will also feature Jumoké Fashola and PAN’s Amies Choir, both accompanied by Colin.

All profits go to PAN Intercultural Arts.

Barry Cryer, OBE’s legendary wit and huge sense of fun continue to be enjoyed by millions – on radio, television and in live performance. ‘He’s like a very generous jukebox – you put a penny in and get ten songs back’ (The Independent). Barry and Colin continue their collaboration on Radio 4’s top-rated comedy quiz I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, and tour together in Strictly Come Joking.

Colin Sell is an accomplished pianist who has forgivingly endured the barbs of his Chairmen on ISIHAC, particularly the late Humphrey Lyttleton who delighted in put-downs such as ‘You’ll be accompanied by Colin Sell who has forgotten more about playing the piano than the rest of us know.’

Jumoké Fashola is a broadcaster, journalist and vocalist who has appeared at the London Jazz Festival, the Royal Albert Hall alongside Dionne Warwick, and performed with Bobby McFerrin at the Royal Festival Hall. She presents BBC Radio London’s Sunday Breakfast Show, Inspirit with Jumoké Fashola.

PAN Intercultural Arts changes peoples’ lives by using theatre, music and other art forms to help some of the most marginalised groups find a voice to reclaim their place in society.
