Join comedian Deborah Frances-White for her comedy podcast. Each episode, Deborah and her guests discuss their noble goals as 21st century feminists and the paradoxes and insecurities which undermine them. The podcast has become a phenomenon with over 50 million downloads.


Deborah Frances-White is the 2016 Writers’ Guild Award Winner for Best Radio Comedy for her hit BBC Radio 4 series Deborah Frances-White Rolls the Dice. She is an Edinburgh Fringe regular, a screenwriter and is hugely in demand for her corporate seminars.

In 2017, The Guilty Feminist won two awards at the Lovies – Best Entertainment Podcast (Silver) and Best Host (Silver).

In 2019, The Guilty Feminist was nominated for Best Comedy Podcast at the British Podcast Awards and won Best Lifestyle and Culture Podcast in the 2019 Pod Bible Podcast Awards. The podcast was also named by Apple as one of their Best Listens of 2019.

About the guests

British/Iraqi Dina Mousawi works as an actor, director and producer. Her work aims to encourage integration and empower. Working collaboratively to create bold, innovative work she aims to build a more tolerant and inclusive society through art. Her career spans theatre, television and film. Dina produced the short film Yellow which was nominated for a BAFTA for Best British Short Film and shortlisted for an Academy Award.

Afsaneh Dehrouyeh is an award winning British Iranian actress, best known for starring as Laili in the BAFTA nominated and Oscar shortlisted Yellow, Samira in Our Kind of Love and the key role of Mahdiya Kattan in Season 3 of Fox 21’s Tyrant.

India Rakusen is an award-winning radio and TV presenter and producer. She focuses on personal stories that explore the impact of our fast-changing world on individuals and society. Her recent projects include Today in Focus for The Guardian and 28ish Days Later and Witch for Radio 4. Her current project, Child, explores a child’s development from fertilization to first birthday.

Amy Acre is a poet and editor. Her debut collection, Mothersong (Bloomsbury, 2023) is shortlisted for the John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize, and was named a Book of the Year in The Telegraph and The Financial Times.
