The much-celebrated Ethiopian singer and pianist Girma Bèyènè is brought back to the stage by Francis Falceto’s cult record series, Éthiopiques. The discs have shed light on Ethiopia’s musical golden age in the 1970s, and Bèyènè was featured on the

30th album, Mistakes on Purpose. Backed by the French Ethio-jazz band Akalé Wubé, he revisits some of his greatest hits in this unforgettable gig at Songlines Encounters Festival 2019.
