Forthcoming shows featuring the same performers:
Composer and robotic artist Sarah Angliss performs live her eagerly anticipated limited edition debut CD, Ealing Feeder, a steely and unsettling love letter to London, in this presentation from Art Assembly.
‘The city is a modern edifice on a medieval footprint and that’s a great blueprint for any album’, said Sarah, who mixes ancient instruments with theremin, electronics and her robotic inventions in an extraordinary live set. Cow Heart Pin refers to a London butcher in the 1920s who impregnated a desiccated heart with nails to curse a rival. The Bows refers to a sororicide on the River Neckinger, Sky Bullion to the forces reshaping the city skyline today.
There are guest spots from percussionist Stephen Hiscock and Ian Rawes who presents archival treasures in London’s Lost Worlds of Sound. DJ Special K also plays her London-themed rarities.
