New music by Hyelim Kim, James Larter and Colin Alexander all with an underlying connection to aspects of nature and the impact of climate change |
NW Live Arts’ dynamic musicians explore the sounds of our planet – music of the air, sea, sky, forests and landscapes – in a programme Bartok and Messiaen, free improvisation, new composition and music from West Africa and South Korea. Underlying the music are the questions about how much we value our connection to nature and how we can find a way to help the planet to restore.
“I’m delighted that NW Live Arts has created a mission to actively create platforms where social themes and ideas can be delivered in engaging ways – directly into the hearts of communities by talented artists and musicians.” Kuljit Bhamra MBE
“Just seen NW Live Arts …’Along the road’ beyond brilliant….the reason why we live in London!” Paul – Audience member June 2023
