The world renowned Capital Children’s Choir has been defying expectations since 2001, when it was formed by a small group of 10 year old friends who were determined to sing their own choice of music. Founded by soprano Rachel Santesso, the group soon grew into a 100 member choir, and it wasn’t long before the choristers became known for their imaginative choral arrangements of famous pop songs.

One of the first choirs to achieve viral success on YouTube, the Capital Children’s Choir has also performed in the presence of Pope Benedict at the Vatican, at the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, at the International Rugby Finals at Twickenham Stadium, in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II, and on major television broadcasts both here and in the U.S.A. They have sung on several motion picture soundtracks and alongside many of the biggest names in pop (Rihanna, Frank Ocean, the Spice Girls, Lily Allen, James Bay). They have also been featured in Time Magazine, Vogue, NME, Pitchfork, and every major broadsheet in the UK.
