Boss Morris formed in September 2015, springing out of the five valleys of Stroud in Gloucestershire. Meeting through their day jobs as artists & crafters, they dance mostly Cotswold Morris accompanied by musicians & a crew of beasts. Their striking attire dazzles the crowds & sheds a new light on the wonderful world of Morris. At the 2023 Brit Awards, the group performed alongside the 4x category winning indie band Wet Leg.
The workshop will last approximately 75 minutes without an interval.
The group will also bring their unique take on the traditional English folk dance to the public spaces of Kings Place as part of this year’s Folk Weekend. At 3.05pm and 6.50pm, witness this eclectic group of professional performers take inspiration from many types of traditional dances and ancient customs, but give them a modern twist with their interpretations and striking attire. Prepared to be dazzled!
