Sierra Hull & Justin Moses with Rachel Baiman

As both musical and life partners, Sierra Hull and Justin Moses wake up everyday, grab a cup of coffee alongside their instruments and start playing together as they have done for over a decade.

The instrumental journeys are traditional and experimental in nature, with the extremely proficient multi-instrumentalist Justin Moses switching with ease between dobro, fiddle, guitar, mandolin and banjo, performing alongside Sierra Hull, who is known as the mandolin player of her time. A show with these two normally starts with the duo surrounded by more than seven instruments, leaving the audience in anticipation as to which one they will pick up next.

With her 2017 debut Shame, Americana songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Baiman emerged as a fearless voice of the American female experience. Shame was featured on NPRʼs Songs We Love, called a Rootsy Wake-up Call by Folk Alley, and described by Viceʼs Noisey as “flipping off authority one song at a time.” On her new full-length album Cycles, Baiman has found a grittier musical medium for her signature unabashed and defiant songwriting, employing a majority-female team including co-producer Olivia Hally, known as the front woman of Indie-pop band Oh Pep!
