Alina Bzhezhinska & HipHarpCollective

'Reflections' Album Launch (BBE Music)

Alina Bzhezhinska – the ONLY jazz harpist hailed by Downbeat Magazine as the ‘New Sound of Europe’ returns to Kings Place with the HipHarpCollective to perform her new album Reflections, a combination of Afro-harping, Dilla-Vibes, free-form experiment and Trip Hop, released 23 September on BBE Music. Alina will be performing on the Hall One stage with all 11 musicians who took part in the album recording.

BBE Music’s newest recruit joins other timeless acts with her seminal release on the iconic London Based Record Label.

Kings Place will host Alina Bzhezhinska & HipHarpCollective for an exclusive performance of the much anticipated album Reflections. Tracks from the album have been highly requested and has seen her gain solid streaming numbers and regular airplay on Jazz Fm , BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio 2 to name a few.

Fresh off a blazing trail of festival and concert Gigs, Alina and the HipHarpCollective continue their momentum through the UK Jazz scene.

Downbeat magazine has recently hailed Alina as one of the acts redefining the European Jazz scene, her unique approach to the harp and her compositions are captivating in the studio but take on a whole new level when experienced live.

Reflections (BBE Music) follows up her critically-acclaimed debut album Inspiration (Ubuntu 2018). Bzhezhinska collaborates with British jazz stars Tony Kofi (saxophones), Jay Phelps (trumpet), Julie Walkington (double bass) and vocalist Vimala Rowe, strongly supported by international talents Mikele Montolli (electric bass), Joel Prime (percussion), Adam Teixeira (drums) and Ying Xue (violin & viola).

At the event there will be signed copies of the album on sale, plus some other very special collectables. Make sure you book a ticket to ensure the HipHarpCollective experience.
