Banger Factory Records burst onto the scene in 2021 and has rapidly established itself as a label that epitomises the vibrancy, energy, and talent of London’s music scene. Spreading love and good vibes, championing community and ultimately shaping the future of music that transcends genres, genders and borders.
The showcase will be a journey through BFR with music from its latest releases and an all-star line up of young lions, veterans of today’s British Jazz and a spotlight on the new generation of creators.
You will be listening to the incredible talents and work of Kinetika Bloco, Christ-Stephane Boizi Sextet, Pete Horsfall & Electric Relaxation, Rachael Cohen Trio, Ruben Fox | Deschanel Gordon Duo and Mark Kavuma & The Banger Factory.
This unique event offers a fantastic chance for music lovers of all ages and backgrounds, the opportunity to experience the cutting edge of live jazz music, celebrating an incredible musical community in a setting that’s both electrifying and welcoming. With DJs, panel discussions and a vibrant multi-stage showcase.
This exciting and spectacular one-day event gives ticket holders the chance to experience all performers across the multiple stages at Kings Place and enjoy our spaces between performances. The full programme will be published closer to the date.
This unique event, in partnership with King’s Place, offers music lovers of all ages and backgrounds the chance to experience the cutting edge of live jazz in a setting that is both electrifying and welcoming.

Kings Place Concessions Tickets

£10 ‘Under 30s’ tickets
A limited number of £10 tickets for attendees aged under 30 are available for certain shows. To purchase an ‘Under 30s’ ticket, please choose the ‘Under 30s’ price type when selecting your ticket(s). If the option does not appear, this means all ‘Under 30s’ tickets have sold out or are not available for this performance. Please note that proof of age may be requested at the venue. The £10 offer does not apply to premium price categories.

Kings Place is situated just a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras stations, one of the most connected locations in London and now the biggest transport hub in Europe.

The Venue
Our performance spaces are situated on the lower ground floor. Hall One, Hall Two and St Pancras are located in level -2, reached by stairs, escalator and lift from the ground floor entrance level.
Event Times
Door times indicate auditorium entrance times only. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Kings Place seating areas, gallery-level art, canal-side terrace, café, restaurant and bar throughout the day and evening.

Rotunda Bar & Restaurant
Rotunda, situated on the ground floor of Kings Place, offers a unique dining and drinking experience alongside Regent’s Canal. The concert bar in the venue foyer will also be open for select events.
Green & Fortune Café
Recently re-furbished and now open with a new look, the Green & Fortune Café is open for selected concerts. Serving hot and cold food and drinks, including sandwiches, salads, soup, stew and a pie of the day, alongside a choice of cakes made by the on-site bakery team. Kinetika Bloco (Hall One 5:00pm – 5:30pm)
Kinetika Bloco: an exuberant mix of young brass and woodwind players, drummers, steel pan and dancers all in costume creating a ‘unique new British Carnival sound with a decidedly London edge’. BBC Radio 2.
London-based youth music and performance organisation blending brass band, percussion, steel pan, dance and carnival traditions.
Pete Horsfall & Electric Relaxation (Hall Two 5:45pm – 6:30pm)
Pete Horsfall & Electric Relaxation: critically acclaimed trumpet player and vocalist Pete Horsfall, renowned for his distinctive musical style. “Electric Relaxation represents my continuing and passionate engagement with the entire continuum of jazz – past, present and future.” Electric Relaxation delves into jazz, instrumental hip-hop, ambient electronic soundscapes and free improvisation.

Christ-Stephane Boizi Sextet (Hall One – 6:45pm – 7:30pm)
Christ-Stephane Boizi: an exciting new voice on the London Jazz scene. Christ-Stephane’s music bridges the gap between jazz’s rich heritage and its future. His sextet brings a vibrant, infectious energy to every stage.

Ruben Fox & Deschanel Gordon Duo (Hall Two 7:45pm – 8:15pm)
Ruben Fox will celebrate the launch of his album In Two Minds, which explores the musical dialogue between saxophone and piano and will be officially launched live at the showcase.
Rachael Cohen Trio (Hall One 8:15pm – 8:45pm)
Rachael Cohen Trio: a force to be reckoned with for the past five years. Their unique sound is crafted around Cohen’s original music, with carefully selected standards making an appearance, shrouded in cleverly written arrangements. Featuring long time musical peer Jason Brown, the trio is a rotating cast of exciting International players.

Mark Kavuma & The Banger Factory (Hall One – 9:00pm – 10:00pm)
The evening concludes with Mark Kavuma’s ensemble, which has grown from a Brixton residency into one of the defining sounds in UK jazz. Recently awarded ‘Jazz Ensemble of The Year’ at the 2025 parliamentary jazz awards. Over the last ten years the band has developed and nourished a truly unmistakable group sound and is contingent upon bringing the people a good time.

Jake Zaitz is an internationally renowned guitarist, record producer, writer, avid record collector and Snakestone Records founder. He has been a featured DJ with the Banger Factory at their six-year residency at Brixton’s POW and also performed at London’s premiere Jazz Cafe and Ronnie Scott’s, EDF London Jazz Festival and 91 Brick Lane. His eclectic LP collection will take you from hardest grooving bop and soul jazz cuts, to hippest 60s mod smashers, Motown soul and R&B to funkiest disco exciters.
Banger Factory Records burst onto the scene in 2021 and has rapidly established itself as a label that epitomises the vibrancy, energy and talent of London’s music scene.
