Cassie Kinoshi and her SEED Ensemble launched her album Driftglass at Kings Place in February 2019 with an unforgettable concert combining jazz with inner-city London, West African and Caribbean influenced grooves. Band-leader and composer Kinoshi is making huge waves in the British jazz scene, and her ensemble contains the most exciting talent of her generation, including Shirley Tetteh, Theon Cross, Chelsea Carmichael, Sheila Maurice-Grey and guest vocalist Cherise Adams-Burnett.
