Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, these jazz legends blew the world away and set the standard for jazz singing with their joint approach to the American Songbook in 1956 for the album ‘Ella and Louis’.
On 4th August, Cherise Adams-Burnett and Renato Paris come together for a special performance, reviving this timeless reportoire live for you to hear! With the support of a stellar jazz band, they’ll bring you classics from the album, including ‘Moonlight in Vermont’, ‘Under a Blanket of a Blue’ and ‘Can’t We be Friends’. Come and immerse yourself in these classic songs and stories!
For the second time, Kings Place partners with Cubitt Sessions and ventures into the local area, this time in the new shopping district, Coal Drops Yard.
