Olga Amelchenko: Howling Silence

Edition Records and Kings Place Presents

Howling Silence embodies the emotional depths of her personal challenges, combining virtuoso performances with breathtaking interaction.

Born in Siberia, shaped by years in Germany, and now immersed in the Paris jazz scene, Olga Amelchenko draws from her rich background to create music imbued with both resilience and passion.

Howling Silence gives voice to unspoken truths, while also inviting the audience to reflect on the interplay between silence and expression. It explores the space between the desire to express oneself and the weight of silence.

How much can you say? How much do you retain? This tension is at the heart of Olga’s music.

This event will last for approximately 110 minutes including an interval.

Edition Records and Kings Place Presents is a thrilling new series, as part of Edition’s associateship with Kings Place, featuring the exceptional talent from Edition’s acclaimed artist roster. This partnership embodies a spirit of deep collaboration and bold creativity – creating live experiences that push the boundaries of jazz and showcasing the creativity, skill, and vision of some of the genre’s most exciting artists.
