Artist Carole Berman opens her studio for a short, informal tour ahead of her event on Sunday 8 March. Surrounded by the works created during her years in Jerusalem, she will introduce the drawings, paintings and sculptures that shape her visual memoir The Holy Fire of Art. From dream-inspired imagery to pieces influenced by Jewish texts and the city’s landscape, this rare glimpse into her creative world offers a rich prelude to her conversation with Ariel Kahn.

Carole Berman was born in London and worked for Sotheby’s in London and New York, later studying History of Art at University College, London, then Fine Art at Chelsea and Wimbledon Schools of Art. She chaired the Ben Uri Art Committee between 1992 and 1995.
