Comfort Blanket

London Podcast Festival

Comfort Blanket is a fun, fact-filled chat about the films, tv shows, books and records that funny guests return to again and again as their warm, safe place.

Comfort Blanket has covered everything from Terminator to Curvy Brides Boutique, from Betjeman to Die Hard, from Frasier to the Dungeons and Dragons Players’ Handbook.

Hosted by comedy writer Joel Morris (whose Rule of Three podcast won the British Podcast Awards Best Arts Podcast 2020) this is a place to take a deep dive into how our welcoming favourites work their magic.

Joel has written for Charlie Brooker’s Wipe shows, Mitchell & Webb and just about everyone else around. He co-created TV’s Philomena Cunk, as well as being behind spoof newspaper The Framley Examiner and the hit Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups.

The special podcast festival guest will be Isy Suttie, who has chosen the film Grease.

Comfort Blanket is the podcast about the pop culture that never lets you down.
