The Final Girls

Exploring the life and work of Jamie Lee Curtis

London Podcast Festival

The final girl is the last woman standing at the end of a horror film. The Final Girls is a weekly podcast exploring horror film history and its tropes, from witches to vampires, female monsters and teen horror.

For their live show, host Anna Bogutskaya will be joined by writer and podcaster Becky Darke to look behind the screen and explore the life and work of the ultimate, undefeated final girl: Jamie Lee Curtis.

The Final Girls is a film collective dedicated to exploring the intersections of horror film and feminism. Founded in 2016, they’ve done screenings up and down the UK, organised bloody prom parties and touring programmes and are now podcasting every week about films old and new, diving deep into horror tropes and exploring where they stand in horror history.
