Join Francesca Specter for the first ever live recording of the Alonement podcast – together with fellow authors Olivia Petter & Abigail Bergstrom.

To mark the paperback release of Alonement: How To Be Alone & Absolutely Own It, author Francesca Specter is hosting an exclusive live recording of Alonement, the hit podcast show that inspired her Times self-help book of the year.

The ticketed event will see her interview two special guests on stage at Kings Place: Abigail Bergstrom, author of What A Shame (Hodder Books), a debut novel about grief, heartbreak and the ‘Fix You’ industry, and journalist Olivia Petter, the podcaster and author behind Millennial Love, an exploration of love & relationships in the 21st century.

This special evening will mark an exciting new chapter in the show’s development: as the first time it has been recorded in front of a live audience.

The debut live show will follow the trademark format regular listeners of the show have come to know and love: a series of intimate questions around what it means to be ‘alone’ – plus, practical advice on how to turn solitude into valuable, fulfilling alonement. It will be followed by a short Q&A with Francesca and both guests.
