Forthcoming shows featuring the same performers:
One of Labour’s most prominent, complex and influential figures, Andrew Adonis discusses his passionate opposition to Brexit and why he believes Brexit can still be stopped. Lord Adonis will also reflect on his wide-ranging career as a journalist, a senior adviser to Tony Blair and a cabinet minister under Gordon Brown.
Politician, academic and journalist Andrew Adonis served in the Labour government for five years. After studying at Oxford University he became a journalist at the Financial Times and later the Observer. He served as an advisor to prime minister Tony Blair in 1998, specialising in constitutional and educational policy where he eventually became Minister of State for Education and most recently, chairman of the National Infrastructure Commission – a position he resigned from, accusing the prime minister of having ‘no credible plan for the future of Britain’s trade and European co-operation’.
Steve Richards is an award-winning political commentator and broadcaster. He has written columns for the Guardian, Independent, New Statesman, Spectator and The Times.
