David Latchman will discuss some of these controversies, detailed in his new book Ten Chief Rabbis which is based entirely on items in his unique collection of Anglo-Judaica.

Professor David Latchman is a leading UK academic, author and philanthropist, currently holding the position of Vice-Chancellor of Birkbeck, University of London.

Alongside this, Professor Latchman is a keen collector of Anglo-Judaica. A noted expert in the subject, he has accumulated a large and unique collection of pamphlets, books and artefacts pertaining to Jewish life.

Professor Latchman has produced the well-respected book, The United Synagogue: 150 Years of Service and is preparing a sequel entitled Ten Chief Rabbis.
