What does enduring conflict do to a person’s soul and to the spirit of a nation? Internationally best-selling Israeli writer David Grossman has spent decades campaigning for peace.
In The Thinking Heart he asks difficult, necessary questions of his beloved nation after 7 October: How could this massacre occur? How could the Netanyahu government fail to protect its citizens? Will there ever be a lasting peace in the region? Winner of the International Booker Prize, the Heinrich Heine Prize, and the Wingate Prize, Grossman returns to Jewish Book Week in conversation with Rosie Goldsmith.
This event will last approximately 1 hour, with no interval.
