Calling all lovers and makers of film, join actor Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), casting director Hannah Williams, and filmmaker Lowri Roberts for Frank Film Club’s first live episode! Following an Instagram poll, it has been decided that the team will be discussing Heathers, the monumental and enduringly relevant film that cemented Winona Ryder as a star.

As active members in the world of film, Maisie, Hannah and Lowri provide a platform that aims to enhance a variety of voices across the industry, while also engaging with members of the public who love watching films. Talking about film is often synonymous with being highbrow. They like to challenge that. They encourage anyone who loves getting lost in movies to learn more about their favorite films and to feel comfortable talking about filmmaking, casting, story, and more. Frank Film Club is for the lovers and makers of film.

Maisie Williams is an actor of over a decade, most commonly known for her work playing Arya Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones. More recently, Williams joined Apple TV+ in portraying Catherine Dior for their highly anticipated Christian Dior biopic The New Look. Aside from acting, over the last two years, Maisie cofounded Rapt, a production company dedicated to creating rich, magnetic stories with unforgettable characters at the forefront.

Hannah Marie Williams is a casting director with over ten years of experience casting for film, TV and commercials. HMW Casting centres around untold stories told by new people breaking into the industry. Hannah works with some of the UK’s most exciting upcoming directors and producers to highlight these stories and perspectives.

Lowri Roberts is a BAFTA Cymru-winning producer from a short film background. She has feature films and TV in development, being supported by BFI and Ffilm Cymru. Lowri cofounded the production company Rapt with producing partner Maisie Williams, where they focus on telling character-led stories told by people from underrepresented backgrounds.
