Sir George Benjamin, celebrated for his innovative contributions to contemporary classical music, will engage in an insightful discussion to illuminate his creative process, explore the evolving landscape of music composition, and share personal anecdotes from his illustrious career. Attendees can expect an intimate and enlightening experience, with the opportunity to ask questions and interact with one of the foremost composers of our time.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the PRS Members’ Fund, which is solely dedicated to assisting songwriters and composers in when they need financial distress.
As the creative industry faces unprecedented challenges, the Fund is crucial in ensuring that those who shape our musical landscape have the support they need to continue their invaluable work.

The PRS Members Fund is a registered charity, established in 1934 to provide financial assistance to songwriter and composers (PRS for Music members) facing hardship. Whether members are affected by illness, need physical or mental health support, accident or age related – the Fund can help. With almost a century of service, the trustees and small staff team aims to ensure that songwriters and composers can focus on their creativity without the burden of financial stress.
