Peep Show & Radio 4 star, Isy Suttie speaks to Deborah Frances-White(The Guilty Feminist) about her first novel, Jane is Trying, called ‘very funny & utterly charming’ by Adam Kay.

After finding fame as Dobby in Peep Show, winning Sony Gold for her Radio 4 series Pearl & Dave and attracting acclaim for her memoir The Actual One, comedian and actress Isy Suttie has now written her first novel.

Described as ‘very funny & utterly charming…tremendous’ by Adam Kay and ‘laugh-out-loud funny, beautiful and brave’ by Josie Long, Jane is Trying sees her eponymous heroine takes on everything from moving back in with her parents, anxiety and book events.

One of our most hilarious writers and performers discusses her life and career to date.

In conversation with comedian Deborah Frances-White, host of The Guilty Feminist.

Isy Suttie is a comedian, actress and writer. She has written for the Guardian, the Observer, the New Statesman, Red and Glamour.
